Description

Floracliffe Guesthouse and Events is situated against a hill in and located off the N1 14th Avenue off-ramp in Roodepoort.

Guests have a choice of booking 5 guest rooms of which each can accommodate between 2 and 3 people. All rooms offer en-suite bathrooms. Rooms are furnished with vintage, antique desk or dressing table, wardrobe, pedestals and lamps and comfortable chairs. Each room has a TV with OpenView HD channels.

Complimentary tea and coffee, as well as homemade rusks and/or cookies, are provided.

Guests have access to the communal kitchen which is equipped with a microwave, a stove and oven, and a fridge. Meals can be enjoyed in the dining room, or on the furnished balcony which overlooks the area.

The accommodation uses solar power during loadshedding. The property has its own independent water system. Drinking water is provided for guests.

Access is gained through an electronic safety gate, and parking is available in a garage or in the parking area. The guest house has CCTV, as well as armed response.

Meerkats, civet cats and a variety of birds and owls can be spotted in the area. The property offers a lovely view up to Sandton. The guest house is located in the central business district of Constantia Kloof, it may feel like the house is in the countryside due to its location.

The guest house is within a few metres from Flora Clinic, corporate offices, and a shopping centre.

Attractions in the area include the Walter Sisulu National Botanical Garden 13 km away, the Apartheid Museum 18 km away, the Sterkfontein Caves and Cradle of Humankind 30 km away, and more. The guest house is within 50 km of Lanseria and OR Tambo International Airport.
