Will definitely stay here again. The room was very neat and the breakfast was delicious. Friendly service from the staff.

Stay was good. Rooms and bathrooms could do with some up grading and modernising. The common areas are lovely. The carpets need cleaning and the bathrooms are very dated and mould in places. The mattress are worn and need to be changed. The towel smelled damp.

Just what you need for a night or two away from home. A lucky last-minute booking at Forest Villas enabled us to spend a day in Imfolozi and a day in Isimangaliso rather than heading back to Mtunzini and our holiday accommodation in between.

Beautiful place in a lovely setting. Can improve on cleaning a bit. The place is conveniently located. The setting is beautiful with the outside gazebo and pool. I would have loved to stay longer, but the room I was booked (room 1) was too small. Cleanliness can be improved a bit because room 2 had dust etc. It was much better after they cleaned the following day.

No hot water for 3 nights with 2 young children. Our visit to Forest Villas was less pleasant. When we got there at 2:45, our rooms weren't ready yet after we got confirmation that we could already check in at 2 hours. We then had to wait another 30 minutes before we could go to our rooms. There was also no help to take our bags to the top floor where our units were. The unit where my 2 little girls and I stayed also had no running water for 3 nights of our 4 night stay. We brought it to their attention daily, but the staff just brushed them off. The place is really very cute but the service of the staff is pathetic. There was also no management to address these problems. We really wanted to stay longer, but after the service and no hot water, we soon decided against it.
