When you arrive at Montagu's elegant Garden Suite property, which is just outside the main town yet close to all amenities, ring the friendly host who will greet you warmly. A retired teacher, he will show you the suite and lovely garden surrounds filled with birdsong and describe the various activities on offer such as the hot springs near by, art galleries, mountain walks and the restaurants.

Surrounded by mountains, softly lit by the exquisite natural light of Montagu so sought after by famous local artists such as Francois Krige unwind from your drive with a Muscadel made on local wine farms, pair with biltong, nuts and locally made cheese all of which you can purchase at the famous Cape Dry Farm Stall less than 3 minutes away. A stop at Cape Dry is an experience not to be missed: browse local wines, spirits such as local brandy and Fynbos gin. Stock up with real Karoo lamb for your braai and add farm bakes, local preserves and dried fruit products to snack on.

The gracious and airy suite is furnished with 1 queen-size bed and 1 single bed and features an en-suite luxury bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, toilet, and washbasin. It is ideal for one or two guests but can accommodate a grandparent or child if necessary because of the addition of the spare bed. The room also has ample closet space and cutlery and crockery, as well as tea and coffee-making facilities. The sliding doors open onto the private patio with a picnic table to eat at in the lovely garden and a braai for your enjoyment.
