Little slice of heaven. A wonderful, peaceful stay on a farm. The cottage is so beautifully decorated with a superb location on the river!

Rustig, stil en regtig die moeite werd! As familie het ons vir 'n paar dae die Crane Cottage bespreek. Alhoewel dit in die middel van winter was, was dit so die moeite werd om daar te bly. Die kaggel was 'n groot bonus! Die cottage is lekker ingerig met alles wat jy nodig het. So stil en lekker om op die plaas te bly. Pragtige omgewing. Ek sal definitief dit vir enige een aanbeveel en self ook weer daar bly.

Book now. You won't regret it! It was perfection in every way. The cottage was utterly gorgeous with magical views. The indoor fireplace kept us beautifully cosy and my partner even enjoyed the outdoor shower. There were some lovely walks around the farm and to the bird hides, and if you mountain bike, then it's a dream being 3 km away from the Karkloof Trails. Bron was the best host ever. Kind and considerate, and eager to help us when we had car troubles. Definitely one of the best places we have stayed.

Great beds and linen, lovely walks to the Crane Sanctuary on the property. Lovely stay - great beds and lots of wood for a roaring fire in the lounge. The only drawback was that some of the doorways were very low (the original building was old) and that is only relevant for the very tall - over 6 feet among us.

Cosy cottage with beautiful views. Cosy cottage in a beautiful, convenient setting. Views were phenomenal and loved the peace and quiet. Added bonus of the bird hides and Karkloof conservancy being on the farm, a bird lover's paradise. Cottage was clean with modern furnishings. Host was very helpful in giving directions and assisting where required. Perfect for a short stay to explore the Midlands. Highly recommend.
