Description

Genet House Holiday Home offers self-catering accommodation in Marloth Park and is ideal for families. Located near Gate 1, it provides easy access to all the wildlife activities in the southern region of South Africa’s famous Kruger National Park. At Genet House, families can spend quality time together swimming in the pool, cooking in the kitchen, enjoying a braai, watching movies on the large TV, or feeding the local wildlife. Guests can also go for walks, bike rides, drive along the river in Marloth Park, and visit the various viewpoints.

The house features 4 air-conditioned bedrooms and 2 safari-tent bedrooms, accommodating up to 12 adults and 4 children. The first bedroom has a king-size bed and a sofa for children. A baby cot is available on request. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed, the third bedroom has a double bed, and the fourth bedroom has 2 single beds.

The 2 safari-tent bedrooms each have 2 single beds suitable for adults or teens. Additionally, there are 3 sofas in the air-conditioned living area that can accommodate 3 children. Each bedroom is tastefully decorated and has an en-suite bathroom with a shower, except for the fourth bedroom, which only has a washbasin and a toilet. All beds have mosquito nets, and the safari tents are mosquito-proof.

The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, freezer, gas oven, gas stove, air fryer, microwave, and ice machine. There is also a dishwasher, washing machine, and tumble dryer. The front doors open the entire main area of the house, ensuring a seamless flow into the lounge and the porch. The fences have been removed so that wildlife can roam freely around the house.

Marloth Park has 3 bush shopping centres suitable for self-catering, while larger grocery stores are available in the nearby towns of Malelane and Komatipoort. There are also various restaurants in Marloth Park to choose from.
