A lovely family break. We had a fantastic time. The unit had everything we needed, and enough blankets and heaters to stay cosy during the cold nights. Hosts were friendly and very helpful.

Pleasant but outdated. Can do with new couches and kitchen supplies. We had an amazing time. My parents have a place in Palinggat for almost 40 years but needed to get extra accommodation due to our big family including all our kids. Genot was spacious and clean but had a few things we feel can be improved with just a bit of TLC and nitty-gritty things. Kitchen utensils and some appliances were outdated and dirty. The garden was used by the resident dog, so there was often poo on the grass. Braai facilities were dirty and braai grit was old. A lot of old magazines and dusty books. One magazine was from 2012.

All that my sister and I needed for a pleasant stay was provided. My sister and I needed the flexibility of a self-catering stay, and to each have our own room was an added bonus. We were very private there, we felt safe, and if we needed to speak to Leone about anything she was immediately available. For the purpose of our visit, Genot was a perfect fit.
