Description

GF Safaris is a private natural heritage site offering luxury accommodation between Kimberley and Jacobsdal on the famous Magersfontein Battlefield Route. The game farm is home to a wide variety of wildlife species, including one of the Big Five – the buffalo. It is the ideal destination for a romantic getaway, solo travellers, or families who enjoy the outdoors and wish to escape the hustle and bustle.

The Lodge offers 4 accommodation options namely the Buffalo Suite, Honeymoon Suite, Zebra Luxury Suite, Sable Luxury Suite and Bushcamp.

The Buffalo Honeymoon Suite features an open-plan seating area, a bedroom with a kitchenette, and a private KolKol wood-fired hot tub. It is ideal for couples and a romantic getaway. Accommodation is offered on a bed and breakfast basis. The suite overlooks the swimming pool and Buffalo Dam. Guests have a choice of two braai areas

Sable and Zebra feature an open-plan seating area and bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. Suitable for 3 people sharing, both units overlook Buffalo Dam.
Breakfast is included in the rate.

The Bush Camp is located 3 km from the Lodge and is booked as a whole. It consists of the Meerkat, Springhare, and Bat-eared Fox chalets, powered by solar and gas, with no electricity. This is ideal for groups of friends or a family gathering.

There is a swimming pool and Wi-Fi available at the lodge.

Game drives, sunset picnics, braai packs and salads, as well as other meals, are available on request and at an additional cost.
