A truly beautiful, peaceful and comfortable spot in Magoebaskloof. We loved our stay at The Stables! A beautiful, peaceful setting on the farm, a truly comfortable cottage with a wonderful, warming fireplace and two companionable horses in the stables next door! We felt completely at home and was so friendly and efficient at communicating with us both before and after our stay. A highly recommended destination!

Cold! It was incredibly cold. The fireplace downstairs is lovely, but the rooms upstairs are terribly cold. Although there was a warm blanket on the bed, a heater in the room is highly recommended. We cut our stay short because it was just too cold!

Lush home away from home. A home from home that wrapped its 'welcome' around us from the moment we arrived. Beautifully situated in a glen surrounded by trees and lush vegetation, the double-story cottage is well stocked and furnished with the aim of encouraging maximum rest and relaxation. Sinking into well-worn leather armchairs in front of a fireplace, gazing out the windows at oak trees dripping with misty rain, hearing the horses in the stables softly whinny, is the stuff dreams are made of! A metal circular staircase takes you to the top floor where there are two beautifully furnished rooms and a large wet room with a shower with a view outside! There are windows everywhere, and it was absolute bliss to enjoy the outside from the comfort of the inside! Highly recommended, well worth the drive out from Pretoria.
