Grace Country Retreat is located in Memel, a small town in the North Eastern Free State province of South Africa, nestled close to the provincial boundaries of both KwaZulu-Natal and Mpumalanga.

Accommodation on offer consists of 8 fully contained self-catering units, with an open-plan lounge, bedroom, and kitchen. The bedroom is furnished with 2 single beds which can be converted into a king-size bed upon prior request. A triple unit with 3 single beds and a family unit with queen-size bed and single bed are also available. The en-suite bathrooms have both shower and bath facilities.

The lounge area has 2 easy chairs, and the kitchen presents a counter with 2 bar stools, a fridge-freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, and 4-plate gas hob. The cupboards contain crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils.

A coffee shop on the premises provides light meals, dinners and breakfasts upon prior reservation, as well as gifts, stationery, DVDs and books for rental or sale. Braai facilities and picnic baskets are also available.

Please note there is no TV or radio in the units, to ensure tranquil and peaceful surroundings. Free Wi-Fi, and card machine facilities are available on premises.

Grace Country Retreat is based on the outskirts of the small town of Memel in North Eastern Free State, and provides guests with activities including hiking trails, newly marked mountain biking routes, horse riding on selected farms, or visit the renowned Seekoeivlei Nature Reserve. Also located within comfortable walking distance to the local business establishments, which includes the Memel Hotel, Memel Museum, Daisy's Gift Shop, Hartland Oase Restaurant and Die Blaauwhuis Museum and coffee shop.
