Description

Green Hills Forest Lodge is set on 12 hectares of Indigenous Forest with lovely views and wild deer that roam freely. An idyllic location in The Crags, Plettenberg Bay, in the heart of the Garden Route, Western Cape, South Africa.

The accommodation comprises 5 units, of which 2 accommodate 3 guests per unit and 3accommodates 4 guests per unit.

Units 1 to 4 have a loft-style bedroom and an additional bed in the living area, as well as a private bathroom with a shower. Each unit is equipped with a kitchenette which features a 2-plate stove with mini-oven, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and cutlery and crockery. Other features in these units include a TV with Netflix and free WiFi. Units 2 and 4 are also the only units that have jacuzzis, and these are for the exclusive use of guests booked in and staying in those particular units.

Unit 5 is a quaint and cosy 2-bedroomed cottage which is fully equipped with a kitchenette. The Cottage is also our only pet-friendly unit with its own fenced garden.

Of particular interest to birders is the forest walk, where guests can enjoy the serenity and active birdlife of the forest. Visitors may spot the elusive Knysna Loerie and the little Victorian Warbler, which can be found in the undergrowth. The Crags is a beautiful rural area of Plettenberg Bay, featuring lovely wine farms, animal sanctuaries, and a variety of activities to suit all interests. The area is perfectly located while still being close to kilometres of golden, sandy beaches at Nature’s Valley, Keurbooms, and Plettenberg Bay.
