Description
Greyton Toad Hall is a spacious guesthouse located in the heart of Greyton, within walking distance of the town’s restaurants, shops, and attractions. This versatile property is ideal for group getaways, weddings, retreats, and small functions, with paid conference facilities available at a neighbouring property.
The guesthouse offers accommodation for up to 23 guests in a variety of units. There are 7 en-suite bedrooms and 1 family room that can sleep 4 guests, as well as 2 additional en-suite rooms available at an extra cost. Each room is furnished with luxury beds fitted with mattress toppers and features a private entrance via the garden. En-suite bathrooms are fitted with either showers or shower-over-baths, and every room includes tea- and coffee-making facilities. Electric blankets, bath towels, pool towels, bathrobes, and premium toiletries are provided.
Room options include 2 king rooms with kitchenettes, 2 deluxe king rooms with private courtyard gardens, 2 twin rooms (1 convertible to a king), and 1 double garden room. The family room includes a four-poster double bed, 2 single beds, and a kitchenette, with a private bathroom located 1 metre away.
On-site facilities include a 50-square-metre saltwater swimming pool, gas and charcoal braai facilities, a wood-fired pizza oven, a fire pit, and both indoor and outdoor dining areas. A 10-seater wood-fired hot tub is available with 24 hours’ notice. Complimentary firewood is provided for the first night, with more available for purchase.
The main house features 2 indoor entertainment areas. The lounge has a fireplace, smart TV with DStv and Netflix, board games, and books, as well as a custom-built kitchen with a gas stove, fridge-freezer, popcorn machine, and crockery for up to 22 guests. There is a 12-seater indoor dining table and a 22-seater outdoor table, along with several garden seating areas.
The property is powered by solar energy with inverter backup and offers on-site parking for up to 3 vehicles. The guesthouse also assists with bookings for massages, horse riding, guided walks, and other local experiences.
