Harties Is Africa Safari Lodge is nestled on a picturesque farm set on the banks of the Magalies River. Although within easy reach of Pretoria or Johannesburg, the farm is the ideal bushveld retreat for holidaymakers seeking a tranquil break from the bustling city.

Accommodation is offered in a choice of 6 luxury tents, 2 caravans and 11 basic lodge rooms amongst indigenous trees with views of the savanna grasslands. Each tent is furnished with a queen-size bed while the en-suite bathroom in each of the tents is fitted with a shower. The caravans and rooms share communal bathrooms and kitchen facilities. There are also 4 double rooms and single rooms that use communal ablutions. There are no TVs inside the rooms.

The tents have access to a separate, outdoor kitchen which is equipped to cater to guests' basic needs while additional facilities include a braai area and electricity.

Guests can enjoy birdwatching, game viewing, swimming, fishing, guided walks, walking paths, cycling and hiking on the farm. The resort has a day spa, restaurant, picnic facilities and a shop that sells wood, charcoal, ice and cool drinks and more.
