Hemel N Aarde Stud offers self-catering accommodation on a picturesque working stud farm, set in the beautiful Hemel-en-Aarde Valley between Hermanus and Caledon. The property is backed by the impressive Babylon Tower Mountain Range, looking across the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley below.
This property offers guests a choice of Deluxe rooms, Jay Peg Bungalow, Casey Tibbs Bungalow, and our very popular Camden Park bungalow, which all accommodate 2 guests. The deluxe rooms each have their own private entrance and are furnished with comfortable beds. Each room has a private en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet, and washbasin. The rooms include a work desk, a seating area, and a flat-screen TV with DStv channels. Each room has a kitchenette fitted with a bar fridge, microwave, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. The rooms have a patio with outdoor furniture and gas braai facilities. Guests staying in the deluxe rooms have access to a patio area, and each deluxe room has access to its own wood-fired hot tub.
The Jay Peg, Casey Tibbs, and Camden Park Bungalows feature an open-plan sleeping area, a lounge, and a kitchenette. The bedroom areas contain a queen-size bed, apart from Camden Park, which has a king-size bed. The en-suite bathrooms have a shower, a toilet, and a washbasin. Camden boasts a luxurious bath with incredible views of the mountains and horses. The kitchenette is equipped with a 2-plate stove, microwave, fridge-freezer, toaster, cutlery, and crockery, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. The lounges have comfortable seating and a fireplace where guests can relax. The private decks outside the units feature a gas braai and a private wood-fired hot tub, with a dining area and a sofa. The Casey Tibbs Bungalow also features a free-standing bath on one of its private decks. Both Casey Tibbs and Jay Peg have outside showers.
Additionally, the property offers free Wi-Fi access, and secure parking is available. Enjoy the beautiful scenery of the mountains and horses, go for walks around the farm, or bring your mountain bike along and enjoy the trails in the area. The closest beach is a mere 15 km from the farm. Hemel-en-Aarde Valley is also known for its wine route experience, with 14 wine farms to visit.
