Hidden in the Karoo. It was so nice we booked to stay there on our trip back from CT as well. This time we used the pool because it was so warm; we love this little home so much. Thank you to the hosts for accommodating us. Take the dirt road from Streydenburg to the farm as directed by the owner. It is a decent dirt road.

Picture perfect. Hidden Karoo Cottage is a hidden gem. The house is clean, the beds are comfortable, and the kitchen has all the needed appliances. The owners of the farm are so friendly and available for anything you need. We ordered lamb ribs and chops before we arrived; it was well priced and proper free roaming Karoo lamb from their farm. The bulbs and flowers were a stunning surprise; we enjoyed our walks around the farm and down to the dam. The different grasses are so beautiful in the morning sun. We were there with our parents and dog; everyone enjoyed their time. It's a great idea to book 2 nights on your way down to CT so you get to enjoy the cottage and farm.

Perfect luxurious last night of our holiday before our return trip to Cape Town. Hidden Karoo Cottage is definitely a 'hidden gem'! Beautiful, luxurious and perfect for a getaway or just an overnight stay and with a view of the Karoo veld to boot. I will visit again and stay longer this time.
