Highland Game Farm offers self-catering accommodation on a farm with livestock, located roughly 8 km from Dullstroom and about 7 km to Highlands Gate Golf Course. Guests can savour the Scottish Highlands mist rolling in over the mountainous landscape, which adds to that a touch of Africa, and find themselves on a farm in the countryside of Dullstroom.
Highland Gate Farm can accommodate 6 guests and comprises 2 cottages that must be booked together. The first cottage can accommodate 2 guests and is furnished with a double bed and has a bathroom with a shower. The second cottage can accommodate 4 guests and comprises 2 bedrooms, furnished with a double bed and 2 single beds, respectively. They have en-suite bathrooms with showers.
The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, stove, oven, microwave, cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. There is a centrally located dining table with chairs. It extends to the lounge furnished with comfy seating and features a cosy fireplace, where guests can relax with a glass of wine or curl up on the couch with a book. There are also games in the cottage to enjoy with your group.
The units open up to a lovely covered terrace with outdoor seating overlooking the dam, the ideal space to savour a morning coffee. Furthermore, guests have plenty of space to explore the farm and surroundings on foot or by mountain bike.
