Thank you so much for providing feedback, it is much appreciated.
If I may clarify a couple of the concerns raised. With regard to the road noise, Plett hosts several New Year events and attracts acts from all over the country. This year, a neighbouring farm hosted a large festival, and so this meant a lot of traffic in and out of town. Sadly, there is nothing we can do but allow the revellers their one night of fun.
We debated whether to install WiFi for a long while, and our idea is to provide a proper getaway from it all, where friends and families can reconnect without the use of a screen. We clearly state that there is no WiFi on the site, and we are glad this did not concern you.
Water is provided in the lapa area, but only by use of a bottle. We do, however, offer to replenish dishes on a daily basis.
We note your comments regarding cutlery, and the reason for the plastic plates is actually twofold. Firstly, we do have a lot of baboon activity, and decided that keeping breakable crockery in the braai area was not a good idea. Secondly, we have a lot of children's activity too and feel a 3-year-old running with a plastic plate is a much better option than a 3-year-old with a china plate. We will, however, investigate a set to maybe be kept inside each tent. Thanks for the idea.
