Hippo Waterfront Lodge and Camping is situated only 6 km from the Mbombela Stadium and less than 10 km from the city of Mbombela (Nelspruit), the capital of Mpumalanga close to one of the most prestigious game reserves in Africa, the Kruger National Park.

Clean and comfortable log cabins with river views await visitors. Here guests can just relax and enjoy the peacefulness of nature. Bird watching, fishing and hippos in the river are just some of the exciting things this lodge has to offer.

The sub-tropical climate gives the lodge a delightful setting in a lush countryside with lawns filled with trees, birds, flowers, fruits and nuts. Frequent visits by the river resident hippos create a lot of excitement every now and again.
