Huisie Ommie Hoek is a fully furnished 2 bedroom free standing cottage along a quiet side street off the main street of Uniondale. Uniondale is a small country town in the Western Cape Province at the western entrances to the Baviaanskloof and the Langkloof, and the northern entrance to Prince Alfred's pass.
Accommodation comprises a full bathroom with bath and shower, a living room with DStv, and a fully equipped kitchen is available. The spacious main bedroom has a double bed and a cot. The second bedroom has 3 or 4 single beds. Bedding and towels are provided. Safe parking is available on the property. Dinner bookings can be arranged on request. Other meals available on request.
The picturesque Prince Alfred's pass connects the Klein Karoo with Plettenberg Bay and Knysna in the Tsitsikama. Uniondale is approximately 1 hour's drive from George or Oudtshoorn, and 2 hour's drive from Graaff Reinett along the N9. Apart from numerous scenic drives, Uniondale boasts numerous beautiful old buildings, various eateries, an old English fort from the Anglo-Boer war and a 9 hole golf course.
