Comfortable, magical, value for money. We’ve stayed at many places in Marloth Park over the years, as it’s our regular stopover after returning from Mozambique. Impala Lilly has now become our favourite. Location: The lodge is tucked away off the main road, making it wonderfully peaceful—no traffic noise at all. It’s conveniently close to the local shops and just a short drive from the main gate to Kruger National Park, allowing for easy and quick access. Accommodation: The unit offers two en-suite bedrooms, both beautifully decorated with wildlife photography and furnished with cozy, comfortable pieces. The beds are excellent, and both rooms are fitted with air conditioning, which was a blessing during the warm evenings. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed for cooking and dining, including a braai area, utensils, and even thoughtful extras like washing-up liquid, tea, and coffee. The complimentary bottle of wine we received on arrival was a beautiful touch and made us feel immediately welcome. Wildlife: We were constantly surrounded by birdlife and frequently visited by various mammals throughout the day. Each evening by the firepit, we enjoyed the magical experience of animals approaching the nearby pond to drink—an unforgettable way to connect with nature up close. Final thoughts: Impala Lilly is a true gem—nothing else quite compares. Whether you're a family of four or a couple looking for a peaceful, well-appointed place to stay, this is ideal. We’ll definitely be back—it’s officially our favourite spot in Marloth Park!

Lekker. Wat probleem was en aan eienaar gegee is, geyser te warm; hul sal opvolg. Braai rooster baie swaar om te skuif as kole onder dit warm is, kort los handvatsels om dit beter te maak. Verder baie lekker gebly, kamers ruim. Kragvoorsiening in Marloth Park was nie lekker nie, met hitte golf verbruik te hoog wat veroorsaak dat ligte dim en lugversorgers en stoof nie reg werk nie.

Very good! All was good except for the mattress in the main bedroom; it was terribly hard! The swimming pool pump timer I believe was set incorrectly as the pump even came on at 23:00.
