Place I will always go back to and propose to friends and family. I enjoyed my stay. John and Aubrey were very friendly and accommodating with my requirements to leave early and still checked on me when I left that all was fine.

Very comfortable and clean. John and Audrey are awesome hosts. Accommodation was neat, clean and had everything we needed. Location was perfect for the meeting we had the next day.

Waarde vir geld en sentraal. Ons het die akkommodasie geniet en kan dit aanbeveel. Die kamers is baie lig in die aand, so sensitiewe slapers mag dit dalk as 'n probleem ondervind. Die area is ook redelik besig en glad nie stil nie.

Thank you, Jomari, for staying with us. We are sorry that the one room does not have blockout. We appreciate your feedback and will correct that and put in blockout behind the curtains. The other room has total blockout curtains, but perhaps they were caught behind the curtains and we never pointed them out. We will make sure that they can be seen in future. We are sorry if it was a bit noisy for you. I am trying to remember if there were events on that weekend which created a bit more noise than usual. Thank you again for using our accommodation.

Not great. A pity. Unfortunately, when we arrived our rooms were not ready, with people inside using the bathroom. That is a very bad first impression. We had to wait around until they finished, dropped off our bags and then they completed the cleaning of our rooms. Also, the rooms were just rooms inside a house with a communal lounge, rather than apartments with lounge areas, as apparently depicted in the online brochure. Also, WiFi is not strong enough for live viewing, only Netflix. Not a train smash, but not as advertised.

Good morning Matthew, We apologise most sincerely, just as I did on the day, for the bathroom having been used when you came in. Other guests, who had already checked out but were still on the property, had returned to use it. The rooms were ready for you. We take great pride in ensuring our accommodation is as comfortable as possible for our guests. Unfortunately, the situation with the toilet was an anomaly, but I believe everything else was in order for you and all areas were clean. Please note that our descriptions and pictures clearly indicate a shared main kitchen, lounge, and dining room. The word 'communal' is used in the description of the main lounge, dining room, and kitchen. However, each unit is fully equipped with a fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, crockery, cutlery etc. So, the use of the main communal areas isn't a necessity. You used the term 'apparently' to describe the communal areas in your review. If you plan on expressing complaints publicly, kindly verify the details first. After the family that used the lounge, dining room, and your toilet left, we ensured all areas were pristine before you returned from the rugby. Our cleaning staff thoroughly cleaned the toilet with disinfectants and a toilet spray was put in place. We have a practice of placing a chocolate on each pillow and milk in the fridge. We prepared the extra double bed for your son using our high-quality linen. We've generally received positive feedback on our WiFi, so we wish you had informed us if you encountered issues with it. The family who used the facilities (a lovely orthodox Jewish people who due to religious reasons had delayed their checkout) stayed in the same rooms as you did. They left us a five-star review, which can be viewed on our Airbnb site. We are incredibly grateful for their feedback as we strive to keep our guests satisfied. We've been operating for many years and have achieved 'superhost' status on Airbnb. We're truly sorry that you weren't pleased with your stay. It was a busy weekend for us and, apart from your experience, all our guests were satisfied with our services. Future potential guests, we kindly ask you to look beyond this review.
