Loved every minute. We had an amazing stay in this well equipped unit. It is right opposite the ocean so you are able to hear the waves breaking. Also extremely close to Uvongo Pier where there are breathtaking ocean views to enjoy. Parking is secure and close to the unit. The area is quiet and peaceful, which is exactly what we wanted. The owner is super accommodating and responsive. Would definitely visit again!

Het al baie lekker plekke by julle bespreek en sal weer. Maar sal my huiswerk b. Nie so lekker nie, woonstel was nie in 'n goeie toestand nie, muurpapier stukkend, kombuisdeur gat in, stortteëls stukkend, stortgordyn stukkend, stortkop kan nie stel. Hoofslaapkamera matras te sag, kasdeure kan nie groot oopmaak nie, bedkassie keer ens.

Hi Hennie, I am sorry that the apartment and location were not to your liking. From your description, the flat is in a very bad condition and we were extremely worried that guests had badly damaged it, as it was in very good condition when we left at the end of August. So I asked the caretaker to send me photos and a video. 1. The curtain in the shower is not damaged (I can send you the video). 2. She did not see any broken tiles. (Please can you tell me where they are so that we can get them replaced?) 3. The front door looks like it had been repaired at some stage, but someone has removed what had been used to cover the hole. I will ask the handyman to repair it again. 4. The wallpaper has been damaged (it was put up last year in November); we will replace it with wall paneling as it does not look like wallpaper is ideal for that wall. 5. We set the shower to keep the water in the shower as we had to replace the bathroom door due to water damage. (Sorry) 6. Soft bed; I am not sure what we can do as it is a high-density foam mattress for 120kg. I am not sure if you can get one for a higher weight. 7. Bedroom cupboard problem; I do understand that the one door can open fully but the other only opens halfway due to the bedside table. We purchased the apartment last year in November and it is on our bucket list to add a toilet to the cupboard spaces and put a built-in cupboard on the other wall in the bedroom. Thank goodness the apartment is still in good condition and not damaged (as per photos sent by the caretaker). Glynis and Kevin

Thank you, Ria. We are looking into putting WiFi in the apartment. Hopefully, that will help with the cellphone signal. Not sure what I can do about the "Baie w". The weatherman has different ideas.
