Great! Jakhalsfontein was the perfect rest stop for the 4 of us after a long drive. Yverne's friendliness was refreshing and immediately warmed our cold and tired bodies, not to mention the welcoming fire that was ready for us to braai. Awesome stay! We were welcomed by Kirsten when we arrived. Very beautiful setting and peaceful after a long day travelling. We were served a delicious lamb pie in the evening and had a good night's rest.

Perfect stopover. Jakhalsfontein is the perfect stopover when travelling with kids. Very close to the N1 but you won't even know it when you're on the farm. So tranquil, the most beautiful setting. The hosts are extremely friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to get us some wine to enjoy with the braai packs we got from them, which were also of great quality. The kids were free to run around and quickly made friends with the hosts' little ones. Great value for money, would definitely recommend!
