John Jack Inn accommodation is based in the quaint village of Chrissiesmeer. Lake Chrissie in Mpumalanga is approximately 2.5 hours drive from Johannesburg and Pretoria. Chrissiesmeer is at the centre of South Africa's largest lake district with some 270 lakes and pans located within a 20 km radius of the village. The perfect getaway spot for those seeking a holiday away from the buzzing city life.

The accommodation comprises 7 elegantly decorated units with a communal lounge area. All units come equipped with comfortable beds and bathroom facilities.

Breakfast is served at the McCloud’s Breakfast Café attached to the McCloud’s Wool Duvet shop during the week and at The Billiard room during week-ends. Dinner is served at The Billiard room which includes a-la-carte menu. There are also braai facilities available at the cottages but not at John Jack Inn.

The little town of Chrissiesmeer in Mpumalanga’s central wet- and grasslands is surrounded by more than 270 stunning lakes and pans. Apart from the shimmering waters, historical charms include the Dumbarton Oaks Hotel; Now John Jack Inn built in the late 1800s, The Billiard Room and the historical Barclays Bank.
