Cheap beer, good food and aircon. Very nice stay, the food is delicious and the beer is cheap. The facilities are neat and adequate.

Must stop before crossing the border on the way to SA. Fantastic place to stay a stone's throw from the Ariamsvlei border post, so it's ideal for getting up early and crossing the border on your way back to South Africa. The owners are fantastic people with warm hearts and very hospitable. We had a very nice pizza at the restaurant on the same premises. We will make a point of staying here again in the future.

Convenient location. Very conveniently located because it is on the border. Everything that was needed was available and the bed was very comfortable and the shower was nice and hot.

Not for older people. Positive: Lovely beds and good bedding. The toilet leaked and was quickly repaired by the staff. Rooms are well appointed and the staff were helpful when we wanted to braai - the necessary cutlery was provided. Negative: At busy border post with trucks coming throughout the night - had a poor night's sleep. Felt unsafe because there was no fence between Rest Camp and the border post.

Nice cheap beer and the best service! We had a great time staying here! Our dogs were able to come along which was a huge bonus and with the price of the beer on tap, it's just another reason to stay here! The receptionist is terribly cute and looks after people and all your needs very well!

It was a pleasant surprise after a day of driving. Joliens is located in an excellent location. After a long day of driving, they had just the right amenities to make us feel welcome and rested for the next day's journey. That beef burger at Joliens Kitchen was excellent.
