JS Rossouw @ Vrugtegeur Guest Farm is a delightful self-catering house located on the picturesque Vrugtegeur Guest Farm in the beautiful Koo Valley. The farm is conveniently situated just 45 km outside Montagu, along the R318.

The house can accommodate up to 14 guests and comprises 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. The main bedroom is furnished with a double bed, while the second bedroom has a double bed and a bunk bed. The third bedroom also has a double bed and a bunk bed, and the fourth and fifth bedrooms each contain 2 single beds. The bathrooms are fitted with either a bath or shower, basin, and toilet. Linen and towels are provided for guests’ convenience.

The fully equipped kitchen includes a fridge-freezer, additional freezer, stove, oven, microwave, cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. A dishwasher is provided for added convenience. The dining table seats up to 12 guests and flows into the open-plan living area, which features comfortable seating, a Smart TV, and an indoor braai. There is also a second lounge area with cozy couches and another Smart TV. Guests can use their own login details for Netflix and DStv, and complimentary Wi-Fi is available.

The house opens onto a wooden deck that boasts stunning views of the surrounding mountains and garden — the perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening.

Guests have access to a communal sunken trampoline, ideal for outdoor fun, as well as a swimming pool (available only during summer months). The surrounding area is rich with attractions, including scenic hiking trails and well-known wine farms. The nearby town of Montagu offers additional activities such as hot springs, a nature reserve, and museums, making it an excellent destination for a relaxing and memorable getaway.

There is also a marked walking trail on the farm and a farm dam where guests can enjoy catch-and-release fishing.
