We were 4 people, 2 of us are adult children from the Netherlands. We were very impressed with absolutely everything, lovely mattresses, exceptionally neat and a beautiful view.

Quiet and private just what you need for a getaway. Kalahari Lion's Rest was great. It did my soul good.

Was very nice. We had a very nice stay.

Very good for a stopover on a trip. Rooms are well equipped with all necessary. The wooden partitions (walls) can affect some visitors because you can hear what people next to you are talking about.

Will not visit again. Accommodation not up to standard at all. One room had no hot water. Limited DSTV package, no sports channels. Advertises a wheelchair unit, but the entrance to the shower has a 45 degree slope. No person in a wheelchair would be able to get into it themselves, even with help it is dangerous. Owner has no idea of the needs of a wheelchair person. The website should remove the establishment as wheelchair friendly!

Oasis for tired bodies in the Northern Cape. Clean, safe place to sleep with friendly, helpful staff/owners. We immediately felt at home and were quickly helped with an awesome place to eat a stone's throw from where we are staying. Kalahari Lion's Rest is in a quiet neighborhood with the most beautiful view of fields where you can stand in front of your room door and watch the sun go down and the new day break in the morning.

Clean and tidy. Nice overnight stay, clean and warm welcome.

The place was good but the unit was not up to standard as we expected. The bathroom taps were completely loose. There had been soap but no shampoo.

The guest house is a wooden house, so the rooms are not soundproof. The place is advertised as B&B but is not. I wouldn't say it's really self-care either.

It was comfortable, clean and tidy with nice and hospitable people. It is conveniently located in a quiet part of town with a beautiful view of the river. We will use the place again if the opportunity arises.
