Description
Kalfieswals offers self-catering accommodation in a cottage located on a working chicken, sheep and cattle farm situated 10 km from Laersdrif. Kalfieswals originates from the little calves that run so exuberantly with their tail in the air when they come out of the kraal in the morning.
This cottage can accommodate 4 guests at a time and consists of a bedroom, a bathroom as well as an open-plan kitchen and a living area. The bedroom is furnished with a double bed and the bathroom fitted with a shower, washbasin and toilet.
The living area contains 2 single beds and leads to the kitchen that is equipped with a gas stove and oven, a fridge-freezer, cutlery and crockery as well as a dining table. This establishment makes use of solar power and the hot water comes from a wood-burning donkey. Wood is provided.
The farm has lovely cycling and hiking trails as the unit does not have a TV, Wi-Fi or a swimming pool.
