Description
The Karoo Glamping Dome offers a unique glamping experience within the secure Camdeboo Conservancy. Nestled beneath the rugged Camdeboo Mountains, it is only a 25-minute drive from the charming town of Graaff-Reinet.
The dome can comfortably accommodate 4 guests at a time (2 adults and 2 children) and features an open-plan design. It is furnished with a king-size bed that can be converted into 2 single beds on request. Children are accommodated on folding camping mattresses. The bathroom includes a shower, washbasin, and toilet. Quality linen and bath towels are provided, and a wood-fired hot water tub is also available.
In addition, the dome has a separate rondavel with a kitchenette equipped with a 2-plate stove, microwave, bar fridge, cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. There is also a seating area that overlooks the retreat, making it a perfect spot for a morning coffee.
Outdoors, guests can enjoy a wood-fired hot tub or cold tub, a wooden deck with outdoor furniture, and braai facilities — the ideal place to unwind with a sundowner. The Karoo Dome is the perfect destination for those seeking relaxation in a pristine, unspoiled environment.
