Description

Karoo Nest offers the choice of either a Family Unit or a Garden Studio. Each unit has its own entrance, private garden, and braai area. Karoo Nest is located in the town of Calitzdorp, close to award-winning wineries and unique restaurants.

The Family Unit is ideally suited to a family and comprises a main room with a queen-size bed and kitchenette, a bathroom with a shower, toilet and basin, and a sliding door leading to a second sleeping area with 2 small single beds. The kitchenette is equipped with a small fridge, a microwave, and a kettle and a toaster. It is air-conditioned and has a TV with full DStv channels and Wi-Fi. Guests have access to their own private garden, seating area on the deck and braai facilities. There is an inverter to provide power to the TV and Wi-Fi during load-shedding.

The Garden Studio is ideally suited to a couple and comprises a bedroom area with a queen-size bed, a sitting area and open-plan kitchenette, and a private bathroom with a walk-in shower. The kitchenette is equipped with a small fridge, a microwave, a kettle, a toaster, and an electric frying pan. It is air-conditioned and has a TV with full DStv channels and Wi-Fi. Guests have access to their own private garden, a seating area on the deck, and braai facilities. There is an inverter to provide power to the TV and WIFI during load-shedding.

Calitzdorp is known as the 'port capital' of South Africa, and guests can enjoy a complimentary local port on arrival. The area is known for mountain passes, rare succulents, bird life, local artists, and breathtaking scenery.
