Our favourite overnight stop when traveling between Gauteng and the coast. We stayed in Cottage #3. Very comfortable and peaceful stay. The cottage was well equipped with a small bar fridge which worked very well. Nice hot showers/bath.

Would book again. Historical interest, food was truly good home cooking, fantastic with a cinnamon loaf, a very special treat. Bar prices are great, but need more stock and a bit more options at the bar. Short to medium term suggestions: Room needs tidying up. Inform guests that the air conditioning only works when on generator; fans work. It's probably time to look at a facelift without spending too much, keeping the original charm and furniture. For example, fresh paint indoors, neutral curtains. Swing for kids' play area close to the main house. Create a view deck for sunset beach as they call it; fantastic view neglected can be such a great place to offer sundowners. Yes, nice time for a stopover, have a rest with a friendly and helpful team in general. Would consider Karoo Nights in the future as a rest place on route from Johannesburg to PE or back.

Great Karoo oornag. Skoon en netjies, en perfek vir oornag stop. Gasvryheid was great, en soveel ekstras soos braaipakkies, hout ens.

Best overnight stay on the way to Cape Town from Gauteng! I found Karoo Nights to be a wonderful stay! The staff went out of their way to accommodate us, as I was travelling with my 82-year-old mother. Takeaways were done for our meals as my mother walks difficultly. Karoo Nights has a very warm and comfortable atmosphere, quiet surroundings and a peaceful farm experience. I will always stay at Karoo Nights when I travel to Cape Town in the future.

Koue plaashuis gevoel. Was lekker, ons het net laat middag daar aangekom, was reeds koud, maar die geyser was nie aan nie en daar was geen verwarmer aan nie. Die huisie was baie koud.

A visit well worth the effort off the beaten track. Friendly service all round. Clean, neat, tidy rooms and facilities. Dirt road in good condition. Enjoyed the traditional Karroo supper.
