Description

Kata Charis is a tranquil self-catering retreat situated on a working farm in the Hazyview–Kiepersol Conservancy, overlooking a peaceful 3-hectare dam surrounded by indigenous flora and abundant birdlife. Access is via a well-maintained farm road suitable for most vehicles.

The two air-conditioned chalets each accommodate up to 6 guests and feature 2 en-suite bedrooms — the main with a queen-size bed and the second with twin beds. Each unit offers a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge-freezer, stove, microwave, toaster, and kettle. Quality linen, hypoallergenic pillows, and bath towels are provided.

Guests can relax on the private veranda with braai facilities and scenic views over the dam — ideal for birdwatching or simply unwinding in nature. Secure shaded parking for 2 vehicles is available. Guests are kindly requested to bring their own firewood, charcoal, and firelighters.

Kata Charis is conveniently located near Hazyview’s main attractions, including the Panorama Route, Kruger National Park, and a variety of outdoor adventure activities such as river rafting, tubing, and zip-lining.
