We had a lovely family weekend in a very nice house. Our stay was lovely, the house is very nicely kitted out and has a great location. It really is in need of a fireplace. We were making fires in the braai as suggested; however, too much heat escapes without adequately warming the room. We kept on running out of hot water in the bathrooms; some of our guests had cold showers. We were also told on our return to JHB that we had damaged or broken a pot for a plant. When we left there, I personally walked through every room checking that all was in order and would have immediately noticed should this have been the case. I see in the photo received from your company that the bathroom window looks open, and it could very well have occurred when the staff came in to clean. We are very tidy people and we always like to tidy up around ourselves; your staff will attest to this. It is not about the cost of the pot, but rather the principle. The estate itself is beautiful, and we took the time to go for walks and explore. We appreciate the care the owner of the unit has put into ensuring everything is comfortable, and it really was, other than not having a fireplace or enough hot water.
