Description

Kleinfontein farm provides scenic camping and is situated in the northern part of the Cederberg Mountains, at the foot of the eastern side of the Pakhuis Pass. Kleinfontein is easily reached by normal sedan vehicle, and is only about 30 km off the N7 from Clanwilliam, on the tarred R364 from Clanwilliam.

Self-sufficient camping is available. The campsite is equipped with an ablution block with hot showers and flush toilets as well as a covered braai area. The campsites do not have electricity. Only solar lighting and a gas geyser are available in the ablution, but no plug.

Kleinfontein is located in close proximity to De Pakhuys and Bushmans Kloof Wilderness Reserve. The location is far enough from the city to enjoy unspoilt nature and starry skies, yet close enough to serve as the base for exploring the scenic Cederberg wilderness and flower haven.
