Korhaan House is an enchanting home situated in the coastal town of Van Riebeeckstrand, Melkbosstrand and is within walking distance from white sandy beaches. It is just 35 km north of Cape Town and boasts beautiful views of the ocean, making this a great escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.
This property can accommodate up to 10 guests at a time and comprises 4 bedrooms in the main house as well as a flatlet. The spacious flatlet is furnished with a queen-size bed and features an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower. This flatlet also has a seating area with a TV and a kitchenette equipped with a 2-plate gas stove, microwave and bar fridge. In the house, the first bedroom has a queen-size bed, the second bedroom has 2 single beds, the third bedroom contains a queen-size bed too and the fourth bedroom has a double bed. Both bedrooms 3 and 4 shares the first and second bathroom with a shower. The remaining 2 bathrooms are also fitted with a shower.
The open-plan living area occupies the top level of the home and features a stylish kitchen fully equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, cutlery and crockery. For guests’ convenience a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer are available too. Leading from the kitchen is a dining table where guests can enjoy their meals together. Adjacent to this dining space is a cosy lounge with comfy seating and a flat-screen TV. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the home.
This living area opens onto a sunny wooden deck with sun loungers, a picnic table and a gas braai which is just the perfect spot for a sundowner while admiring the ocean views. The ground level opens onto a covered patio with another picnic table and sun loungers. The garden of this property is spacious and features a boma with a central firepit where guests can gather around. Guests are afforded secure parking on the property.
