Very nice relaxing for 2 days along the Zambezi and camped comfortably. Campsite with shower and cooking facilities was very well equipped and one of the better options in the Zambezi region. The area for tenting was large enough for a dome tent and a covered area for a vehicle. However, it is too small for a 4x4 caravan and would be recommended for people with a tent or roof tent. A haven and a paradise. Superb opportunity to be part of the Zambezi area. Charmaine kindly upgraded us to an amazing luxury tent right on the water. The staff were friendly and accommodating, the food was out of this world, especially the lamb stew, and the sunset cruise with the very knowledgeable captain and guide was very special. We were close up with hippos, crocodiles and prolific bird life. This was a haven and a paradise and a welcome three days from the hustle and bustle.

View, birds, sunset. We really enjoyed our stay at Kubu Kwena. It is a beautiful place with a very nice view of the Zambezi. Bird life is something special! We would love to visit the place again, will just come more prepared for the only downside, viz. the many mosquitoes.

Didn't want to go back home. Kubu & Kwena is a piece of paradise. The staff are friendly and helpful. Our guide (Charles) was excellent. Something for everyone: child-friendly, great variety of birds, great scenery, good place to just lie down or enjoy top-notch fishing. Really in love with the place.
