A great option for a getaway. Kudu cottage looks great in pictures, but it is even better in real life. Your immediate exit from the unit gives you views of the surrounding huge mountains, and you can hear the nearby river running past. It is a private house with 3 rooms and very well equipped. Private braai area and parking. There is no WiFi, but we managed to stay fully connected using my Vodacom SIM and watch the rugby, also no problem using data. Others with MTN SIM kept disconnecting, however. There are some good walking trails in the area with some amazing views.

An adventure. It's beautiful there, literally in the middle of nowhere. We really enjoyed the hike with incredible natural beauty! Will just be more prepared next time. No sugar, coffee or tea available. Pieta was nowhere to be seen, but his sister did drop in and help us.
