La Pension Guest House is a charming guest house located on almost an acre in a quiet, leafy suburb of Oudtshoorn. The guest house provides the ideal setting to enjoy the park-like gardens surrounded by an array of indigenous plants and trees or sip sundowners at the large sparkling pool with a bar and entertainment lounge within close proximity.
Accommodation is offered in 4 individually decorated rooms that can each accommodate 2 adults, while some of the rooms can accommodate 2 children as well. Three of the rooms are furnished with king-size beds that can be converted into 2 single beds, while 1 of the rooms is furnished with a queen-size bed. Two of the rooms include a child-only couch or 2 child-only beds, which can accommodate 2 children each. Each room features an en-suite bathroom fitted with either a bath and a shower or a shower fixed over the bath. The rooms open onto the garden or the verandah.
A solar panel system as well as a backup gas generator has been installed, providing backup power to the lights, TVs in the rooms, Wi-Fi, electric gates, toasters, coffee-machine and hot water urns. The air-conditioning, kettles and hairdryers are not to be used during power outages. Gas geysers ensure that hot water is always available.
Each room features air-conditioning and tea- and coffee-making facilities. Guests have access to a communal indoor braai area, a communal dining area where they can enjoy their complimentary English breakfast, a communal swimming pool with day loungers, and a bar with lounging.
Free Wi-Fi, secure parking, yoga lessons every day of the week, and Thai yoga massages are available to guests at the establishment.
