Description

Better Lagoon & Kabeljou offers self-catering accommodation in 2 adjacent cottages, ideally located in Langebaan. This property is perfect for 2 families looking for a getaway on the West Coast. It offers beautiful views of the lagoon, is within walking distance of the water, and features a swimming pool and a wood-fired KolKol hot tub on the property.

The property can accommodate up to 8 guests at a time, with each cottage comprising 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Each main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed, while the second bedroom in each cottage contains 2 single beds. Both bathrooms are equipped with a shower, washbasin, and toilet. All linen and bath towels are provided; however, guests are asked to bring their swimming towels.

Both cottages include a living area with a kitchen that’s fully equipped with a gas stove, microwave, fridge-freezer, cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. One cottage also has an electric oven. Each lounge area is furnished with comfortable seating and a flat-screen TV offering a full selection of DStv channels. Free Wi-Fi is available for guests.

Each cottage has its braai facilities for outdoor cooking. The property also features a trampoline, a ping pong table, and a double kayak that guests can use on the lagoon. After a day at the beach, an outdoor shower is available for rinsing off. Outside, there’s a lovely wooden deck with sun loungers, a swimming pool, and a boma area with a firepit.

At the lower corner of the property, out of sight from the cottages, lives our caretaker, who provides an extra layer of security and takes care of the swimming pool and general maintenance. Most guests won’t see him during their stay.
