Wonderful break to nature. Ten minutes from Tulbagh, the two cottages are set close to the mountains, surrounded by nature with easy access to beautiful hiking trails. Perfect getaway from the city. Gail is a generous and wonderful host, very accommodating and helpful.

A restful place that we’d love to return to. We had such a wonderful, peaceful holiday at Landliebe Farm. It’s the perfect spot if you’re looking for a break in nature — and it’s pet-friendly, which made it even more special for us. The property is fully fenced, so we could relax knowing our dog was safe and free to explore in the big garden. The farm setting is idyllic. It was such a treat to watch the goats, sheep, horses, cows, ducks, and chickens move about. The house itself is well-equipped and comfortable, with everything you need for a relaxing stay. There are lovely hiking and trail running routes perfect for exploring the area and soaking in the fresh farm air. A truly special, restful place that we’d love to return to. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to unwind, reconnect with nature, and bring their pets along.

Hidden gem with great trails for walking! It was great - relaxing, breathtaking, with special tours from the owner. We received milk and eggs straight from the farm and enjoyed a braai as the sun set. What a getaway!

Excellent, exciting, amazing, friendly people and staff. Our stay was exciting and filled with amazing experiences. The staff and people were very friendly and helpful. The kids and us enjoyed our stay to the fullest. We were sad to leave such a beautiful and tranquil place.

Peaceful, beautiful, relaxing. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to going there again. The children could feel like real farm children for a few days. is very friendly and helpful and made us feel so welcome.

Magical for humans and pets. This was our third trip to Landliebe and we stayed for a week. We just love this farm, it is so magical with all the animals and beautiful views. We love the swimming pool with sun loungers where you can sit and look over the valley knowing you are the last people on the mountain, no other farms between you and the mountain top. We had our dogs with us and they loved the big garden, and we felt secure enough to leave them when heading out for a mountain bike ride. They also loved the walk to the waterfall, swimming in the farm dam, and especially watching the lambs, geese, horses, and donkeys from the stoep. Other highlights were the Panaram walk through the proteas with amazing views, and especially the owner was so kind and accommodating. She even took us for an incredible sunset ride on the quadbike. Horse riding is also offered; they have 5 beautiful horses. We felt that the house and beds were comfy enough and that we had what we needed to cook and braai, and a large fridge is a bonus too. We will be back for a fourth trip for sure.
