Description

Langfontein Farm Cottages offers guests a true Karoo farm experience. The farm is situated 50 km from Graaff-Reinet in the picturesque Camdeboo Conservancy. The historic homestead dates back to 1860 and the farm buildings have been carefully restored to their former glory to capture the atmosphere from a bygone era with all the necessary luxuries to ensure a comfortable stay.

Accommodation comprises 3 private self-catering cottages that are individually decorated. Each unit has a fully equipped kitchen, lounge with fireplace, and braai facilities. The bedrooms are spacious with crisp, white percale linen and the bathrooms have showers as well as Victorian baths. All the cottages have a verandah with breathtaking views and are serviced daily except on Sundays. The 1830 Cottage is situated on the main farm. Westbrook and Dot's Cottage is situated on the upper farm - 5 km from the main homestead and 1830 Cottage.

There is a lovely swimming pool at the main house which is available to all guests.

Enjoy long walks, relax on the verandah with a book, explore the Graaff-Reinet area or simply spend time with loved ones at your cottage. Children can explore and play freely and for mountain bike enthusiasts, the area offers great routes to explore. There are also hiking trails for the adventurous.
