Situated within a 5-minute' drive from Bethlehem, on the way to Harrismith and Clarens, is Lavender Hill Country Estate with the picturesque Clarens and Golden Gate just around the corner, making this estate the ideal spot for a stopover or a weekend getaway. The Estate is close enough to town to provide convenience, yet still out of the hustle and bustle to grant serenity and peacefulness.

Guests have various options of accommodation to choose from. The rooms are all individually and tastefully furnished with either a king-size bed, twin beds, or a queen-size bed. Each room has its own bathroom fitted with either a shower, bath, or both and features a basin and toilet. Crisp linen and towels are provided. Other in-room facilities include air-conditioning, a TV with either selected DStv channels, or a full selection of DStv channels, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities.

The estate offers safe and secure parking on the premises and a lovely playground is available for the children. There’s also a spectacular restaurant on the estate where breakfast and dinners can be enjoyed.

Guests can do plenty of exploring on the estate with its wide variety of animals such as horses, springboks, swans, cats, rabbits, ground squirrels, and the very well-known meerkat.

This property is located 2.5k m from Bethlehem where plenty of shopping can be done. The Frontier Casino is also a mere 2 km from Lavender Hill. Visit Clarens and Golden Gate, a mere 20 - 40 minutes drive away. Guests can explore various hiking trails, a golf course, extreme adventures, art studios, and plenty of coffee shops in this area.
