Description

Light Shade Mountain is a lovely self-catering holiday cottage nestled in the heart of the historic town of Graaff-Reinet. Set in an 1823 Karoo cottage, this is a great option for a family getaway during the winter as this cosy cottage boasts an indoor wood-burning fireplace.

This cottage can comfortably accommodate 4 adults and 2 children at a time as it comprises 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and the second bedroom contains a queen-size bed and a child-only bunk bed. A bath, shower, washbasin and toilet are available in the bathroom. All linen and bath towels are provided.

The open-plan living area features a kitchen fully equipped with a gas stove and oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, cutlery and crockery as well as a Nespresso machine. A dishwasher and washing machine are available in the scullery. Leading from the kitchen is a cosy lounge with comfy seating, a fireplace and a TV with DStv. Access to free Wi-Fi is available. This space also has a dining table where guests can enjoy their meals together.

Outside there is a private backyard with braai facilities and a 100-year-old grape vine arbour creating an outside dining opportunity with mountain views. Guests have access to off-street parking.
