Lilac Lodge / Purple House is situated in Winterton the gateway to the Central Drakensberg. We offer self-catering and B&B options which are ideal for couples, families or groups. Lilac Lodge / Purple house is 3-star rated and AA highly recommended. We can accommodate large groups or solo travellers. All the cottages are tastefully decorated and equipped to make your stay as comfortable as possible with en suite rooms and TV. Our accommodation is well located within driving distance of all the amazing attractions the Central Drakensberg has to offer.
Our property also has braai facilities, a swimming pool, a play area for kids and a lovely relaxing garden for all to enjoy.

Activities within a 30-minute drive include hiking the majestic Mountains, driving through Spionkop Nature Reserve, seeing history, and taking battlefield tours. You can also play a round of golf on horseback or take a helicopter ride to see the mountains. Also, there is lots to do for the more adventurous, from mountain biking to river rafting.
