Just a weekend away from all the city noise. We had a great stay. Mackers is a paradise hidden between the mountains, next to the Sabie River. We stayed in a cottage, did the walking trail, about +- 4 1/2 km, not easy at all, but definitely worth it, the views are absolutely breathtaking. We are very impressed with the honesty aspect of Mackers, it makes you feel at home and comfortable right away. Then there are also the tents by the river, where to start. Awesome! Value for money! Awesome! Prime location! Nice and private. The road going down to the property was tricky, especially in wet weather. But manageable if you have a high-level vehicle and a decently strong motor. Also, the network is really bad and there's no WiFi. Nothing to really complain about. The place overall was a real pleasure to stay at and the hosts were very welcoming and warm. Would definitely recommend!
