The best getaway I have ever had and we will surely book Maggie May again. Our stay was wonderful, the boat has everything you need and even some extra treats. The setting is beautiful, it's the ideal weekend getaway if you want peace and quiet. We chose A Taste of Africa as our restaurant where we had breakfast and dinner; this is a beautiful restaurant with very friendly staff and the food is absolutely delicious. Overall, the staff is very friendly and very helpful, the boat was clean and the surroundings are beautiful.

Worth putting on your bucket list of fun accommodation. Our host was absolutely amazing. He made sure we were comfortable from the word go and explained all the necessary details on the houseboat. Even though it was only for one night, it truly felt like a holiday.

Really enjoyed our stay. Two nights on Maggie May was perfect for our trip to Addo Elephant Park. Location is beautiful and had awesome sunsets up the river. Beds were comfortable.

A unique and fun experience. We had so much fun enjoying the stay on the river and the activities available. The check-in was easy and they kindly allowed the two dogs to come along. It is a beautiful area to explore but the N2 is close by so one is aware of that noise at times. But I would definitely recommend this as something to try. 2 nights were perfect for us to get the full day to experience the boat and river.

Boat much smaller than in the photos. Dirty dishes in the cupboards. Toilets were only cleaned very late afternoon instead of 8:30 am as stipulated. Overall, not satisfied.
