Description

Makoadi Guesthouse is located on a working farm off the R708 and on the border of the town of Clocolan. Makoadi Guesthouse is less than 2 km from town, on a well maintained gravel road.

The guesthouse offers accommodation in 3 rooms with en-suite bathrooms of which one is an open-plan with the bathroom. There also is a 2 roomed air-conditioned flat with an en-suite bathroom suitable for a family.

All rooms feature tea- and coffee-making facilities, TVs with guest house DStv channels, bathroom amenities and fans and heaters.

There is a communal kitchen area where guests can prepare meals. If dinner is required, it has to be arranged at least 24 hours prior to guest arrival. Breakfasts can be enjoyed either in the room or on the communal patio and can be booked upon arrival. There are facilities for guests to braai and relax outside in the garden overlooking the town of Clocolan, mountains and the farm.

Guests are welcome to take a walk and can enjoy great views over the surrounding mountains from the hill on the farm. Guests should please note that this is a working farm, with vehicles driving around. Mountain bike enthusiasts are also welcome. Once a year, the 3 Mountains bike race passes through on the farm. There is ample parking behind a secure electrified gate and the premises is monitored at night by a security guard. Pets are welcome only upon prior arrangement and fees are applicable.

The local golf club is a favourite for the guests to have dinner. Lunch can be enjoyed at one of the two very unique farm stalls nearby.
