Mapula is a lovely self-catering double-storey holiday home situated in Marloth Park, Mpumalanga, accommodating up to 11 guests.

The house features 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The main bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed and offers an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, a toilet, and a basin. The second and third bedrooms each have a queen-size bed. The remaining 2 bathrooms are each fitted with a shower, a toilet, and a basin. Each room features linen, air-conditioning, and mosquito nets.

The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and includes a gas stove, gas oven, dishwasher, washer-dryer combo, fridge-freezer, microwave, cutlery, and crockery. The loft lounge area is furnished with a king-size bed (comprised of two mattresses pushed together), two single beds, and a single sleeper couch.

While the property does have an inverter, it may be challenging to maintain from a distance. When working correctly, it powers the entire house during load shedding, except for the geyser.

Mapula offers 2 balconies, 2 splash pools, an outdoor gas braai, and an expansive entertainment area with a sunken firepit boma, encouraging outdoor living with the scents of the bush and the warmth of a fire, all while inquisitive zebras, kudus, warthogs, wildebeest, giraffes, bushbucks, duikers, and others pass through.
