Markon River Lodge is located on 8 km of the unspoilt headwaters of the perennial Wilge River. The lodge is a mere 100 km from O. R. Tambo International Airport.

Accommodation is offered in a diverse range of accommodation types.

Traditional cuisine is served at the lodge. Game on the farm includes leopard, aardwolf, brown hyena, caracal, serval and jackal. Markon River Lodge boasts over 30 mammal species including eland, zebra, kudu, blesbok and springbok.
