Description
Marulani Bush Lodge is situated in the malaria-free Dinokeng Game Reserve, 32 000 hectares of unspoiled wilderness located in northern Gauteng where the Big 5 roam freely.
Accommodation comprises self-catering units, and each has air-conditioning, a ceiling fan, a heater, and guests have access to wood- or charcoal-braai facilities and a covered verandah. Linen and towels are supplied. Selected units also have undercover parking. Each unit has a private outdoor bush shower with warm water.
Activities on-site include guided tours, game drives, and fully catered traditional African bush braais, by arrangement only. Guests can enjoy
a morning safari game drive and their morning coffee with home-baked rusks during stopovers in the bush. Upon request, romantic catered sunset picnics are available in secluded spots.
The Dinokeng Nature Reserve is approximately 98 km from O.R. Tambo International Airport and 48 km north of Pretoria on the N1 Platinum highway. It is easily accessible by sedan vehicles on well-maintained roads.
