Great stay. We will visit again. We had a great stay even in the rain. Everything was clean and the cottage well stocked. Great directions. Thank you for making us feel welcome and for being such a good host. We will definitely be back, hopefully with better weather.

Peaceful bush experience with comfortable clean accommodation surrounded by wildlife and birds. We did a short family getaway with the aim of visiting Hluhluwe Game Reserve and the accommodation was perfect in location and atmosphere.

Z. We had the most delightful and peaceful stay at this very comfortable 5/6 sleeper cottage, with the convenience of 2 bathrooms. Our party was 3 adults and 2 young children. Very roomy and the kids loved the grounds and the pool. We so enjoyed the Nyala that came to keep us company and surrounded the cottage grounds. We also had an exciting couple of visits from the beautiful resident genet! The cottage was easy to find with good directions and only 30 mins to the Hluhluwe Reserve Memoriam gate. V. Very quiet and peaceful. With wildlife roaming near the house. Very nice stay. Old farmhouse converted into a self-catering guesthouse. Dirt road from tar road badly corrugated iron, but not in owner's control.

Lovely forest walk. We had a wonderful stay at Mkumbi, the cottage has everything you need for comfortable self-catering accommodation. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Mkumbi has a rich birdlife and we spent hours in the evening on the porch watching for night monkeys and other nocturnal animals.
